"Shhh, Architecture" by Falling For A Square.
All of the songs were written using Nanoloop 2.01 on a gameboy micro, an electric guitar, Glocken Jr, and a little Casio SK-1.
It's very soft, comfy, and quietly under-produced.
When I first started composing songs for the record I knew right away what I wanted to album to be called. The instrument editor and multichannel view of nanoloop 2.01 is so minimal and endearing, it felt like my compositions were like tiny musical constructions, and each song held something or someone different.
Thus, "Shhh, Architecture" was born. It was written mainly on commutes to city and quiet nights at home.
What's next!?
I am currently working on two more records for 2k11. One will be a nice collection of iPhone music. The backbone of all the recordings is Nanoloop along with a slew of other iPhone applications. In addition, there will be a special guest vocal appearance by my friend Derek. He writes some amazing music under the name Computerization! Please, check his music out! This whole record will be mixed and mastered in ATL, by good friend, Brian Slsuher. He writes some really great pop music over at SLUSHCO. I am shooting for a late Summer / early Fall release.
The other album will really be my first "legit-bit" record, made entirely of Nanoloop + LSDJ music. It will feature the song "Veronica Belmont" along with the-like style of blippy pop recordings. This will most likely be out during the Winter.
